BACKGROUND

Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the director of Leftover Currency LTD, a bureau de change. We’re a bit different because we work with expired money. If someone has historical currencies in their drawer, we have a way to exchange those through either selling to collectors or taking them to the bank.

What challenge were you trying to address with Juice London?

We hired them for logo design.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Chris (Director) asked me to come up with a mood board that included things, colors, and styles that I liked. After that, he started with three concept ideas. After further worked out designs with two of them, we chose one.

After the logo was designed, they helped us with our style guide.

What is the team composition?

We only worked with Chris.

How did you come to work with Juice London?

They were recommended to me by the company that was building our site. I really liked their portfolio of work. After our first interaction, Chris sent over a dummy style guide that looked like what I was looking for.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve invested about £4,000 (approximately $5,500 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from November–December 2020 on the logo and style guide.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

I really liked working with them. I was completely satisfied with the work.

How did Juice London perform from a project management standpoint?

We spoke on the phone frequently. They’re not the most organized, but there wasn’t a significant need for it. Chris would have an idea and came back within a few days.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Chris came up with ideas quickly. He was able to think outside of the box.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t think of anything.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Come in prepared. Put something together on pen and paper. Be ready to answer their questions about what you like.
