Provide all A/V equipment for a nonprofit annual fundraiser event, and provide/direct all A/V services. This included an immersive multi-media production by the headliner talent we hired for our program. Post event, provide a branded highlight video reel and a photo gallery.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

This was our third time in a year hiring JSB Video for Forterra Land for Good fundraising events. Jordan is reliable, a delight to work with, and consistently delivers high-quality results. This included live A/V for our entire run of show, a post-event video highlight reel, and a photo gallery.
At our March 2025 event, he navigated surprise twists and turns with venue A/V system challenges like a pro. I wouldn't do an event without him now.

We hired Jordan to help us build a podcast studio in a challenging space. He presented us with a brochure with a few design layouts and executed on the buildout. When I found out he was also a talented videographer and editor, we hired him again to shoot and edit the podcast. Jordan was professional, communicative, and timely with the edit schedule. We're thrilled with the outcome.

We hired JSB video to build out a podcast studio for our office in San Francisco. After the completion of the studio, we decided to also hire to shoot and edit our first podcast series.

Jordan was extremely communicative and met all the video deadlines. We had to push up the publication week by a few weeks and he exceeded our expectations in his delivery.

We were impressed with Jordan's production background and ability to be a one-stop shop in terms of skills needed for this project. We liked that there was a consistent vendor who understand the layout and build out of the podcast studio, but also could shoot and edit our episodes. Having been a producer himself, Jordan also understand exactly what we were looking for in terms of the final edit.

Are there any areas for improvement or something JSB Video could have done differently?

We had some initial issues with the vendor who created the background fabrics for the podcast studio, but Jordan ended up resolving the issue by finding a new vendor.

Jordan was incredibly responsive and highly motivated to deliver a quality product way more quickly than he originally suggested.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We were amazed by their attention to detail in the run-up to filming as well as the craftsmanship that went into the actual shoot. The professionalism and flexibility of Jordan and team throughout a complex and somewhat loose shoot.

Are there any areas for improvement or something JSB Video could have done differently?

I would have liked to have received more of the raw interview footage that was shot, but understand that color grading and sound mixing would have taken additional work and was therefore out of our budget. Not JSB's fault, they were clear with deliverables and costs at every stage of production.

I’m a private dining and events coordinator for The Lakehouse Bellevue, a restaurant group in Bellevue, Washington, that does elevated farm-to-table fresh seasonal food.

What challenge were you trying to address with JSB Video?

We hired JSB Video to shoot videos highlighting what we do. We didn’t have videos of our private dining areas, so we wanted to create them and publish them on our website.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

JSB Video helped us produce the videos we needed, which included preproduction and planning. Initially, Jordan (Founder, Producer, Cinematographer & Editor) came in, and we had lunch to discuss the specifications and share ideas about how we wanted everything to be portrayed. Then, they executed the entire video production process.

Ultimately, JSB Video delivered four videos lasting 30–45 seconds each. The videos were very simple and straightforward, so they had no audio. On them, we showcased the private areas of our restaurant. We posted these videos on our website.

We worked directly with Jordan.

How did you come to work with JSB Video?

I’ve known Jordan for a long time because he’s my friend, so I’ve been exposed to his work for a few years. I really like the quality of his work. Therefore, when this challenge arose, he was the only one I could think of to address it.

We worked together in November 2022. They delivered everything within a week.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The videos produced by JSB Video have been great to use as a selling point. For example, if an executive who hasn’t been to our restaurant before is trying to book a room for dining, we send them these videos so that they can get a good idea of what our rooms look like.

These videos have given potential customers the confidence to book with us and be happy with their booking. Additionally, the videos have been very helpful, and a lot of people like them.

How did JSB Video perform from a project management standpoint?

Working with Jordan was awesome. We worked together on defining the right dates and deliverables for the project, and we communicated via phone calls, text messages, and email exchanges.

What did you find most impressive about them?

JSB Video was very knowledgeable and a great communicator. They knew how to tell a story well while sticking to the budget. Additionally, Jordan was a great person to work with. He was very funny and brought a good mood to the atmosphere, making us want to keep finding projects to work on with him. I can’t speak highly enough about the experience I had working with JSB Video — I would highly recommend them.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing they could have done better. They were very knowledgeable and brought the newest equipment to film the videos.

My nonprofit made a last minute decision to attempt collecting video footage for prerecorded segments to be played at a 50th anniversary dinner. When we got the idea, time was so short and budget was so limited we didnt think it was practically going to be possible. 

I reached out to Jordan, and he activated fast, was organized, stayed on budget and did a great job working with our people and producing a polished product. Couldn't imagine a better experience for someone tapped with so little prior knowledge about our org, with so little time, and such limited budget. Miracle worker. So grateful.
