For what projects/services did your company hire Jhoana Nichols Voice Actor?

VO for radio image at two programs.

What were your goals for this project?

For the first project, we needed a friendly, warm and close voice who connect with the female audience.

For the second, we needed a seductive voice that connects with male audience. And, since we have a two voices image, we needed someone who had the capability to adapt het voice to her partner.

How did you select this vendor?

I had already worked with Jhoana before, so he has my all trust. I explained her what we were seeking for, she made an audition and my chiefs really liked her.

Describe the scope of their work in detail.

Since I write all the copies we need for the radio image, I have to work directly with Jhoana. I e mail her what I need her to record and she send me back the audios.

What was the team composition?

The radio station staff: the Radio Director, the Production Manager and me.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Our project is one of the most important radio stations at Saltillo and Torreón. We launched our second program last year and we have reach the audience we wanted so far.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Since I am the one who directly work with Jhoana, I have to say: very effective.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Jhoana is an excellent voice actress. With us, she works on two very different radio stations that required very different styles of voices and she can do it with no problem. They understand exactly what we need from them so the communications and work are easy. She's always available. And she's a kind, easy person.

Are there any areas for improvement?

For these project, no, she's exactly what we needed.

I’m the office manager for Radio Nueva Vida.

What challenge were you trying to address with Jhoana Nichols Voice Actor?

We needed voice-over work and a host for our children’s program.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

For the voice-over work, we provide most of the content. Jhoana (Freelance Voice Actor) records anything that identifies the radio — she’s essentially the voice of the radio for us. She occasionally does use some of her own content.

For the children’s program, she does all the writing, voice work, and additions, and she finds voices to match the content. She initially came into the station to do the program live, but now records from home.

What is the team composition?

Jhoana is the only one we work with.

How did you come to work with Jhoana Nichols Voice Actor?

She actually reached out to us. We felt her desire to help was honest, and we were in need of the services she provides.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent $12,600 — about $300 per children’s program. She has done four per month, on average, for roughly 3.5 years now.

What is the status of this engagement?

We began working together around September 2016, and it is ongoing. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

Before she took over the position of being our radio image, we didn’t have someone consistent. The previous host of the children’s program left, and Jhoana has been very helpful taking over that position. She’s worked very hard to maintain the audience. A lot of people really like the program as she does it. Jhoana has been professional, consistent, available, and flexible.

How did Jhoana Nichols Voice Actor perform from a project management standpoint?

She plans everything and completes it on time. She is always ahead of schedule. Even when she’s been sick, she has made sure to get the content to us.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Jhoana invests her heart into her work. She provides quality work and is always professional. I trust her judgment and have even taken some of her recommendations. She believes in what we’re doing.
