Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the head of talent acquisition for a cloud service provider. We work with customers to help them migrate to the cloud.

We hired them for their IT staff augmentation services.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Jefferson Frank provides us with IT staffing support. They provide us with different candidates based on our requirements and are in charge of screening each candidate and helping us write job descriptions. Occasionally, we open full-time positions to candidates. For the recruitment process, we follow a fee structure — whenever their team succeeds in placing a candidate, we give them a fee.

We’re looking for skilled engineers specializing in various technologies, such as AWS, Azure, Linux, and JavaScript.

What is the team composition?

We work with two people from their side: an account manager and a lead recruiter.

How did Jefferson Frank perform from a project management standpoint?

They’ve managed the project pretty well. They follow an intake process, wherein they interview the hiring manager and me about the requirements. From there, they delegate responsibilities to their team. They’ve also met our deadlines.

We interact with them mainly via email, and they use Greenhouse to track applicants.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They really know their stuff.

Are there any areas they could improve on?

They need to better understand our limits in terms of budget. There are times when they submit candidates who we can’t afford.

Be very thorough in working with them and give them the resources they need to succeed.
