Jamestown began profiling plates with a 10m x 3m Combined Plasma / Oxy Profiler in Inchicore, Dublin in the mid 1990’s. The company was originally related to a steel stockholding business and offered its services in conjunction with the sale of steel sections. Since then, through strong growth and re-investment in cutting edge technology, coupled with a broadening of machine processes, Jamestown is the primary steel service centre in the Republic of Ireland. Our management and staff have the flexibility, skills and knowledge to ensure that your enquiry or your order will be dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

We are fully aware that most of our customers may already have in-house equipment themselves, but our reliability, turnaround-time, competitiveness, range and expertise means that we are a valuable sub-contract engineering partner to companies of all sizes and in many sectors.

From our beginnings in Inchicore, Dublin to our current site in Portarlington Co. Laois, we have always kept the same philosophy.
