Project Name: Implementation of Power BI HR Analytics Datamart

Thai Client Problem Statement: The Thai Client HR team requires support in developing Power BI Dashboards related to eUnite and Cornerstone source systems. These systems help manage several HR functions across the organisations, such as HCM, learning management, payroll and many more. Thai Union is looking for a partner that can effectively help them achieve automated reporting for HR in a quick and efficient manner.

Convz Solution Description: Convz can assist Thai Client in solving these challenges by developing highly effective and useful dashboards on Power BI for key HR functions. A centralised data mart for HR analytics will first be developed on Power BI, which will then in turn be used to develop several dashboard views/visualisations. 

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Initial Data Discovery and Knowledge/Expertise sharing for best-of-breed industry dashboards to be implemented for Thai Client HR.
Integrate the Cornerstone and eUnite data sources into Google BigQuery with the support of their support and technical teams.
Transform Cornerstone and eUnite data and save it as reporting views in Google BigQuery Data Warehouse. The reporting view will then be connected to the Power BI reports. 
Design high-fidelity UX/UI mockups to conceptualise the look and feel of the dashboards, along with the functionality they will offer.
Development of 1 HR Datamart on Power BI based on Cornerstone and eUnite data. The data mart on Power BI will act as a semantic model, connecting various tables from the data sources together based on logical relationships. DAX Measures, Calculated columns and tables will be developed to create key metrics and dimensions.

The Thai Client HR team can choose up to 3 modules of dashboards. Each module will contain 5 to 6 individual dashboard views. All dashboards within a module cover a specific function of the HR Department. Examples of modules related to HR are as follows:
Resource Development (Upskilling)
Payroll
Workforce Planning
Recruitment 
Succession Planning
Online Learning
etc,
Row Level Security is to be implemented on the dashboards based on the user access list provided by the Thai Client team. The user access list will contain the list of all users who are to access the dashboard and their access level. 
Project management to help define and monitor the weekly sprints.
Power BI Workspace Management and Access Management.
Project documentation is to be maintained and shared with the Thai Client team. 
Validation and UAT testing of the dashboards with the client team:
To ensure the dashboards meet the client's expectations, we will conduct thorough validation and UAT testing in collaboration with the client team. This process will involve comprehensive testing and feedback gathering to refine the dashboards.
