Fragola S.p.A., established in 1961, is a company that designs, builds, and installs machines and “turnkey” plants for the livestock, chemicals, and food sectors. Based in Italy we have customers all over the world. I am a Sales officer as it is also my family’s company.

In order to increase our sales in Europe we needed to increase our international sales team. ITSelecta supported us finding candidates in different countries while we selected some for the Polish market. The goal of this project were recruiting sales managers for expanding our sales revenue in the international market.

How did you select this firm and what were the deciding factors?

As we were looking for an international recruitment agency, we were recommended by a common consultant to get in touch with Alessandro, their Business Development Manager.

We are great when delivering our projects and we are plenty of international customers thanks to fairs, advertisement and word of mouth/recommendation. In order to increase even more these processes of new customer’s acquisition we decided to work with an external recruitment agency for the Polish market.

The sales agent is reporting to our Sales Director.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

Thanks to ITSelecta we were able to identify and interview several good candidates for our team. We ended up with new agents for the Polish market. They helped to increase our sales and branding in this country.

As ITSelecta has Italian team members it was even easier than expected to communicate with them. Everything was fast and easy.

The support we received when elaborating the offer in a market where we do not have an office. As ITSelecta acted not only as recruitment partner but also as a consultant suggesting us the best way to start the cooperation with the selected candidate also in terms of agreement.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

The process was good and we did not encounter any difficulties communicating with them. Having the profiles and the communication entirely in Italian was definitively a plus. Just on, one profile we received we found a missing information about the candidate notice period but ITSelecta promptly informed us about it. In fact, the candidate was not sure about his notice period and ITSelecta could not verify this information before he came back to them. Other than that, all the information received were consistent and verified also in terms of candidate’s references.

What were your goals for this project?

In Romania we were looking for a Business Assistant to CEO in order to improve our way of working there. In Lithuania we were growing our business there so we needed to find an additional Technical Field Sales agent for the local market.

As we are constantly growing our business in Europe we were in need of a BA to CEO for our Romanian office and a Technical Field Sales agent for the Lithuanian market. These roles are very important for our business effectiveness and we decided to work with ITSelecta’s agency in order to fill it.

What was the team composition?

In Romania we had a team of 10 employees plus the CEO so we needed to have an assistant who could improve the work effectiveness. In Lithuania we had only one Sales agent and, as our business is constantly growing, we needed to increase the local sales team by employing an additional sales manager for this market.

The outcome was very good. ITSelecta was able to recruit 2 good candidates for each of the assigned project.

The communication was good and fast and the quality of ITSelecta’s profiles, which came together with cvs of the candidates, were very detailed and helped us understanding, better the recommended candidates.

The way they understood exactly who were looking for and the capacity to deliver what was expected from them. Our time was never lost as they introduced only good fitting candidates for our needs so we did not need to interview many candidates. ITSelecta did a great job and made our work easier and faster.

I did not find some are for improvement now but I can say that we are satisfied with the cooperation.

We needed to recruit engineers/developers (Java, Android and iOS) to develop our platform in a different country than ours. We had the challenge to find them in the local country of interest.

The goal were to find 2 Senior Java Developers and 3 senior iOS and Android developers to develop a specific feature on our platform that would allow people from the local country to use our platform. Moreover, we used ITSelecta to find people to develop key features in our global product.

We found IT selecta on Google. We had some introductury calls to find out IT Selecta way of working. We matched our requirements and we have selected them for this reason.

The project has been set in order to develop the multi-lingual feature to allow users from local and international countries to use our main platform. We also worked with iOS and Android developers to develop some features of the mobile apps we had to launch and we have developed also some java features to enhance the communication between the two different areas of our main platform.

Thanks to ITSELECTA, we have managed to fill the positions we were looking for in that local country. The developers not only matched the technical requirements we were looking for but they were also very fast in adopting our company culture in order to work with local developers we have in our headquarter.

Technically it was quite straightforward and fast. Culturally, we have been impressed how frictionless were the relationships between our teams.

It is very hard to find companies that deliver what they are supposed to. Fortunately they have managed to deliver what they promised, not easy to find these days.

We had some delay in presenting the first developers, but after that they have all been presented to us much more quickly. In time with our needs.
