What was the scope of their involvement?

Italian Accountants Ltd. provides us with accounting services. At the start, they suggested using QuickBooks as our accounting software. Now, we’re using Xero, which we’re more confident in using.

What is the team composition?

It depends on the type of task, but we usually work with 5–6 people from their side. We also spoke to the owner at the beginning of our engagement.

We found Italian Accountants Ltd. through a Google search. They were the perfect fit because they have a good understanding of the UK fiscal environment and the Italian market. We also read some positive reviews on their website, which highlighted their expertise and ability to deal with different clients.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent £8,500 (approximately $10,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2018, and it’s still an ongoing engagement.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

With Italian Accountants Ltd.’s help, we’ve seen an improvement in terms of efficiency — the time being spent on accounting tasks is lesser now.

How did Italian Accountants Ltd. perform from a project management standpoint?

They respond quickly to our questions, which is something we didn’t experience in our previous engagements with other companies. They also meet deadlines and proactively communicate via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

We’re impressed with Italian Accountants Ltd.’s customer service, which is really good. They’re great at engaging with people and trying to understand them; we had a lot of positive conversations with them over the phone and in their office. They're also able to provide helpful recommendations, thanks to their experience in working with similar business models.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I have to do VAT returns with different people every quarter. That said, it might be easier to deal with this with the same person.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Try to exploit the opportunity to engage with the owner and the whole Italian Accountants Ltd. team. Also, make sure to explain to them the business model so that they can provide better recommendations on how to save some money with accounting.
