Please describe your company and your position there.

I’m the BI and Email Marketing Leader at Clarín, one of the top news sites in Argentina and the second most read in Spanish-speaking countries.

For what projects/services did your company hire IT4W?

We need to implement very sophisticated reports for different areas in the company. The project required dynamic and flexible professionals who could work with a variety of data bases.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

From the beginning, they proved to be a team with great professionalism and dedication. I was evident that they have wide experience in the BI tool that we need to develop critical solutions for the company. Additionally, they have partners which are leader in the IT industry and important clients inside and outside the country.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

They are having carried out several projects. The two mains of them are, firstly, the migration from the on-premises database to other one in a cloud environment in a MicroStrategy project. The second project is the development of reports and dashboard for the Advertising department.

Regarding the first project mentioned before, the IT4W team made all necessary modification on MicroStrategy in order that the existing reports run on the new environment in an optimal way. In addition to this, they make a comprehensive analysis to make a comparison between the reports and dashboard results in the new environment and them from the original one.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We have been working with 4 consultants. All of them have been proven to have the skill and the knowledge to perform all the tasks required professionally.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The migration to a cloud environment will bring considerable benefits to the company. However, the successful of the project depend on the fact that the existing reports and dashboard run efficiently on the migrated environment. The use of the BI tool must be seamless for business users.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Effective communication is one of the strengths of IT4W. They are always available through multiple channels such us WhatsApp, Microsoft Teams and email. They always are expeditious in replying to our messages.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their specialization in Business Intelligence in general and wide experience and knowledge of MicroStrategy in particular.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Probably, there are several aspects to improve, but I could not to mention one in particular. Any time we point any mistake, for example in a report or dashboard, they fix it as soon as possible and make sure that not make it again.
