We are an Architectural and Building Surveying Practice based in Dublin

For what projects/services did your company hire Irwin HR?

A complete review and update of our Staff Handbook and Employment Contracts was required, as well as ongoing HR advice as issues arise

What were your goals for this engagement?

To ensure legal obligations are met and procedures put in place to deal with Employee related issues

How did you select Irwin HR?

We were introduced though a Business Network Group with Irwin HR impressing with the pragmatic and level headed approach to issues and solutions. Initial engagement was in relation to an employee issue that was not adequately covered by the office procedures set out in the Staff Handbook and Contract of Employment that was in existence.

Describe the engagement in detail.

Irwin HR set up a systematic process of reviewing our existing documentation, querying our initial view on matters and then preparing draft revised documentation. This was then reviewed jointly with matters for particular consideration highlighted by Irwin HR. A review process was put in place to bring this tocompletion.

Directly with the MD who in turn reviewed issues with co- director

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We were guided through a challenging employee issue that could have progressed to a dispute but reached a mutually satisfactory outcome

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Irwin HR drove the process from start to finish. Progress would have stalled in the absence of thier focus on completion.

What did you find most impressive about this vendor?

They very clearly set out the relevance of the various Employment Law matters, but the documentation is tailored to our needs which are identified in the process. This avoids the pitfalls of a stock "one size fits all" solution.

Are there any areas for improvement?

The outcome has been totally to satisfaction and no areas of improvement identified
