The firm was hired to assist with any and all deliverables for me to buy a condo in Playa del Carmen Mexico, including municipal filings, bank filings and contract negotiations with the developer of the real estate.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

There was one positive measurable outcome: a contract was signed to purchase a pre-construction condo. There was a significant negative measurable outcome. 
14 months after the contracted delivery date, the law firm has left multiple emails from me go unanswered for up to 6 weeks, has lied to me about communicating with the developer, has lied to me about filing a lawsuit, has sent a few ineffective emails to the developer and hasn't followed up, and has refused to provide an accounting of the hours they spent on my case, so that I could ask for a refund of the unspent funds.  
In the end, I have paid them with no results; I have paid for a condo that I did not receive. Iris Abogados even refused to provide requested information to my new lawyer.

Never met deadlines.  Failed to respond to emails for up to 6 weeks. Their phone system mangled conference calls.  They have not enforced the contract terms that they wrote.

This is a negative review.  I have nothing good to say about this firm.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Iris & Iris Abogados could have done differently?

Respond to client emails the same day.  When making demands of a company with whom your client has a contract, follow through with legal action instead of sendng more spineless emails. When asked for an accounting of hours of work, be honest and provide it.  When claiming you have filed a lawsuit, provide proof of such.
