BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We've been manufacturing natural products for dogs and cats since 2012; supplements, vitamins, grooming and treats. Our primary sales channel is e-commerce. I'm the founder and CEO of the company.

For what projects/services did your company hire IRIDIAN?

The day to day work blinds you from what really matter the most, the analysis of the data. That's the main reason we hired IRIDIAN.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

From a personal contact who works for a large company in South America, we heard about IRIDIAN. She recommended them to us, and told us about the great results they have provided for their company. After the first meeting, there was no doubt that we wanted to move forward with them.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Basically we needed to gather all the ecommerce information from our sales in the different online retailers and our website. They did it not just for the last 12 months but historically for the last 5 years.

They used BI intelligence to do it and the extraction of information was huge and overwhelming for anyone, but after doing that, they analyzed it and gave it to us extremely easy to understand with graphics and recommendations.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

I talked during the year with 4 people. There was Mauricio who's the team leader and then with 3 other guys whom were always ready to answer all of our questions.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We weere completely wrong about where to focus our business, we thought the grooming line was our main asset. After showing us (in a easy to read) brief we were able to easily shift our core business to another line of products, understanding where our real profitability, and sales were.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Extremely easy and effective. They're always eager to listen, help and offer a solution.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Their energy, openness and attitude towards sevice.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Nothing that comes up to my mind. They are located in South America, but I know they are opening office in the states, so communication is always easy.
