They needed a solution to enrich their audience data, segment users by their interests based on machine learning algorithms, and offer statistics and reporting

Inventale did the full cycle: we worked on the Client Requirements together, then they provided Functional and Technical Specifications, as well as design mockups. Development has gone through 3 stages to properly test and tune the system on each one. 

They used Java, Phyton, and Javascript for the development and AWS cloud services - for data storage. There was a project manager, a data scientist, a part-time solution architect, front-end and back-end developers, and QA - six people in total.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

• All the project stages were completed on time as discussed. There was one delay due to some extra functionality the client wanted - but this was discussed with, and approved by the client. The client is happy with the solution and says that they started seeing a revenue increase after 2 months of the system usage.

The project management style was structured and efficient.We found the collaboration easy, clear and transparent. We had regular virtual meetings and also communicated via Slack and Jira.

As I was particular to get the standard yet cost efficient approach to balance the harmony - We handpicked every instance of the services with utmost case and they were really helpful on assisting us and deciding the best tools, software

Documentation on deliverables and implementations is missing. They could've done it efficiently but can understand its a matter of priorities / timelines.

Maxifier is advertising optimization tool, it helps media companies, agencies and brands deliver better campaigns and more effective marketing. I work at Maxifier since 2011, current position is Head of Development.

For what projects/services did your company hire Inventale, and what were your goals?

One of Maxifier customers interested in new type of optimization, we need to optimize price floors of their inventory. As Inventale specifies on inventory optimization, we hired them to help. Goals are following:

• analysis of customer data
• research the ways of optimization, manual test of hypothesis with the customer
• development the proved decision.

We are long-term partners with Inventale and their reliability and professionalism are not in dispute.

Steps were done:

• analysis of current inventory settings of customer
• advice optimization ways and options
• testing hypothesis with the customer.

Currently after few tests were done we've found optimization settings with a good results. Development is the next phase.

2 lead data science engineers work on the feature at Inventale.

Feature is in progress now, but speaking about measurable outcomes we have up to 20% increased revenue for customer on the testing scope.

We use Slack and Trello to communicate and manage tasks. Inventale engineers are very responsible persons with high professional skills. As we have 3 sides to communicate - Maxifier, customer, Inventale - we make a calls by request from any side depends on questions are getting up.

Inventale kindly share their knowledges, they are always ready to answer any our question and to help. There was no one case of conflict with Inventale team for a whole time we work together.

We are happy with everything.

We used Atlassian for keeping track of milestones and deliverables as well as direct communication for more pressing issues. They were always available and very willing to support.
