Welcome to InterLokal. An International Co-working Cafe and Community Space in Dresden Neustadt.

Here's why! Dresden is a beautiful city that I fell in love with as soon as I moved here. What’s not to love about Dresden? The river Elbe, which divides the city between the old and the new, The ease and accessibility of public transport, and cycling paths make life convenient and comfortable. The simplicity of the riverside, having the freedom to lay on the grass without any disturbances of commercialization around you. And finally, even though Dresden is technically a big city with several amenities, it provides the comfort and coziness of a small town.

But, are these factors and several more enough to make you stay in Dresden? To me, to feel a sense of belonging in a city, one needs to have genuine human connections as well as some fun and animation that other big cities provide. This is what I create through InterLokal!

InterLokal was born in the September of 2021 as a Co-working Café in the Hostel Mondpalast. A space where locals, internationals and travelers could work together in a lively Café and hostel environment. From being a Co-working Café we have now expanded to being a Community space at a new location shared with the famous Küchenglocke in Dresden Neustadt. On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays we offer a Co-working space in a Cafe ambiance and in the evenings throughout the week we are a Community Space with regular events like weekly International Stammtisch, Diversity and Belonging meet-ups, International Story Slam, International quiz nights, and Authentic Relations Games evenings.
