Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the VP of sales and marketing at Feldmeier Equipment, Inc.

What challenge were you trying to address with Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc.?

We brought them on for managed IT services.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They manage all of our IT requirements and needs. We’re a medium-sized company with multiple locations that need data processing systems and telecommunication equipment. ICS handles all of that for us externally including enhancements.

What is the team composition?

We actively work with 2–3 people and have one person who manages all of our issues and problems. We also deal with two people above that who work on special projects.

How did you come to work with Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc.?

Our team knew of them through their reputation in the marketplace. We thought it’d be better for us to have experts that have worked with a multitude of companies. We preferred experience over having one internal person. What’s more, it was better service at cost-saving prices.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing engagement started in September 2017.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We measure success based on the cost we’re paying now compared to our costs before engaging with ICS. We also measure it by the amount of internal customer satisfaction within our operation. Our team has more downtime and fewer issues. We’re paying less and a getting higher level of support as well as better results than when we managed it internally.

How did Integrated Computer Solutions, Inc. perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is excellent. They’re prompt at meeting deadlines.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re extremely responsive and understand our needs.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There are times when they have to get up to speed with our organization because they’re not aware of all the things that go on internally. However, that’s a small obstacle, and they seem to overcome it relatively quickly.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Set clear and specific guidelines and expectations so they understand your requirements and know how to meet your demands.
