Insight Terra was established to address a rapid and widespread need for more effective monitoring of both the built and natural environments, in situations where one presents a threat to the other. Catastrophic infrastructure failure events over the last few years in a number of sectors including mining and water resources have been due to a number of factors, including climate change and ineffective monitoring and risk management. The technology is now available to collect, validate, transform, analyse and visualize data from a huge range of different monitoring sources, on a continuous basis, providing hitherto unobtainable insight into the status and integrity of infrastructure and the environment in which it is situated.
