I am a streamer and content creator on twitch.

For what projects/services did your company hire Inner Geek Designs?

To create a twitch design package better than what we are currently using.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Package was won via a giveaway that Inner Geek Designs was doing. Was told the order would be treated like any other paying customer.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

Initially, I gave Inner Geek Designs several of my current graphics as an example of what I was looking for. Emotes that would work together to make one large emote. Also sent my transition screen in case they had any ideas to work with it. They asked If I wanted to stick with my current theme and told them if not the theme I am currently using, then something similar.

They provided a rough sketch of a logo that seemed to be a downgrade of what I am currently using so I told them just to clean up what I am currently using as far as the logo. After several months had passed and I told them that if they could not handle the work, I'd be happy to just have a transition screen done for my wife's site. They apologized, said they had forgot about me and that my wife's work would be added on to my order since it has taken so long.

About 6 months after that when I tried to contact them again, I found out that I had been blocked via twitter and discord where I had contacted them previously. When contacting them on facebook, they said that because I responded to one of their twitter posts where they were looking for more work and asked if there was any progress on my order, that they would not be filling my order.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

Only the owner worked with me and as far as I know, the only employee.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

They provided one very rough sketch of a alternate logo that I found to be a downgrade of the logo I am currently using.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

From the time of letting the owner know what I wanted to the first rough sketch was 9 days. The time from then to the next interaction was over 4 months later. The time from that interaction to the next was over 6 months later. There was little to no workflow with this company.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I found nothing that made this company stand out other than their lack of capitalization or punctuation when corresponding.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

Everything.
