We hired Vakoms to support the front-end development and QA of our data collection platform, which enables researchers to create and deploy highly customisable tests and questionnaires for real-time data collection. Our internal team covered back-end development and product design, but we lacked front-end expertise and needed a partner to fill that gap efficiently.

The project involved building the front-end for a complex web-based research platform, which allows users to create tests and questionnaires of all kinds, distribute them to participants, and to manage the resulting data, among other related services. All of this also needed to be integrated seamlessly with the back-end services and API created by our in-house team.

Thanks to Vakoms' support, we have been able to accelerate development while maintaining reliability and consistent high quality.

We needed help developing our Android application. We had a deadline to meet, but we didn't have enough developers to finish the app on time.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Perfsol has provided us with four senior Android developers. We started with one developer, and then two other developers came in because we realized one teammate wasn't enough for our app. We then decided to have another developer, and in the end, Perfsol provided four Android developers. Initially, I asked Perfsol to send me some candidates with their resumes, and we selected a couple of them. We interviewed and selected the first developer. 

Perfsol came back to me and said it was better to have an Android developer because he had more knowledge in healthcare. Our app is a mobile healthcare app, especially for health stations. The app will be tested in six hospitals in our city. We've downscaled our team to work with one developer because we had big projects, but we plan to upscale our team again.

Perfsol has delivered the work on time and on budget. Perfsol has done a great job ensuring work is finished on time. If we didn’t work with them, we wouldn’t have been able to meet our deadline. Perfsol communicates well with us through our internal Slack and Jira. We also have Google Meet meetings and send emails.
Are there any employees from the service provider's team that you would like to give a shout-out to in this review?

We were close with Volodymyr, who is nice enough to contact us and ensure everything was fine. 

What did you find most impressive about them?

Perfsol's developers work independently and don't need much support from us, which is really nice. The team is engaged and takes our business seriously. I worked with another company, but it didn't go well. They weren't transparent, and we stopped our collaboration. Perfsol thinks with us, which is extremely important. If I ever need to scale my company, I'll use Perfsol because I can trust them.
