I’m a manager at a licensed holistic gynecologist’s office.

What challenge were you trying to address with IMS Online?

It’s a doctor’s office, so everything has to be confidential, private, and protected. We needed someone to manage our servers and do IT support.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

When we first moved to the new place, IMS Online physically came and did custom network cabling. Currently, they provide us with a server and storage for the information. They also make sure that all of our iPads and devices are protected with firewalls and security. Additionally, they set us up with our own VPN and network using TeamViewer. They ensure that everything from our computers to our Internet is up and running.

What is the team composition?

We work with the owner and a manager along with other 3–4 support staff members. For the day-to-day calls, we interact with call center representatives.

How did you come to work with IMS Online?

It was hard to find someone who could tailor the work to the needs of a small company, so someone referred IMS Online to us.

How much have you invested with them?

We spend under $1,000 every month. That can change if they have to set something up.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in January 2014, and the engagement is ongoing.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re pleased with how the technological tools work along with the software they provide within our network. 

How did IMS Online perform from a project management standpoint?

We generally communicate via email. If we have a problem, though, we can also call them so they can look at our screen through TeamViewer to solve any issues.

What did you find most impressive about them?

What I like about IMS Online is the communication efficiency. Some of these tech matters can be complicated, but if something’s off they’re knowledgeable, patient, and assist us until everything works. It feels like they know what they’re doing. Also, their ability to fit each company's individual needs is something I find impressive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They can improve their ability to go onsite, but I know it’s not really an option due to their current location and the COVID-19 pandemic situation. Also, they could update their website with more clarity and information about their services.

Any advice for potential customers?

Be prepared and do prior research to have your questions ready and prevent wasting time.
