BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am Brand Manager at Farleygreene and manage all marketing activities for our company.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Impact Media, and what were your goals?

We approached Impact to undertake a re-design of our website - the design needed a fresh new look. Pathways to lead generation were also not clear enough for users.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

Through a contact within our industry. Impact had designed a website for a company we work with, we thought the design was really good and wanted to see what they could create for us.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We had an initial performance and UX review carried out. Following this the review was discussed in detail and recommendations, budget and timeline were discussed also. Following an agreement and an initial workshop, to cover everything we wanted to include, the team re-designed our Wordpress website.

There was a key focus on lead generation, product and service validation. The website itself was designed as a vehicle to share knowledge, expertise and product information. At the same time we also had a re-brand (new logo and colour scheme) which Impact Media integrated beautifully into the design of the new website.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

We had three people working directly with us from Impact's team; UX Lead, Technical Lead, and an Account Manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

Our enquiry form completions have increased by 60% compared with this time last year. User percentages have increased around 10% MoM.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had weekly catch-ups via Google Meet throughout the duration of the project and I was kept up-to-date on how feedback was progressing week on week.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

They are experts in WordPress design, which becomes evident with the fantastic designs they create. They actually won an award for the design of our website! A down-to-earth, friendly team who adapt how they communicate with you through your level of understanding.

It's clear they are experienced in design and usability as the site doesn't just look great but it works too - no fancy gimmicks that don't add anything to the UX. They made sure we know how to use the back end of the website providing us with training videos. They are always responsive with any further requests or feedback we have. They do as much as they can to help within their remit.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

We had some issues with updating different languages but they were quick to help us out with this issues.
