OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire iFX Productions, and what were your goals?

The goal is to inform people of our many services but also to highlight the research chairs.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We had confidence in the quality of the services but also the price was very competitive compared to other proposals. Their team reassured us about their method of approval to develop the project in a collaborative way.

Describe the video(s) and the process in detail, including the project steps and all stages of production.

First we decided to assign a person in charge of our team to make the link between us and the production team. Then we worked together on the details of the production. Their team worked out a script and did a colossal job from shot to shot. Finally they did the editing according to the established scenario and we are really satisfied

Who did you work with and what was the feedback process like?

We worked with a project manager and after each milestone, we gave him feedback. We had access to an approval platform whose name I don't remember but we could comment directly.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The videos were a great success. We have used them on several occasions and in contexts different from the initial mandate. This made it possible to propel our departments and highlight the research chairs.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had some issues during the filming since we have many departments and authorizations are sometimes difficult to obtain. They respected everyone's constraints and found solutions to modify the scenario to accommodate certain people. We mostly used email but personally I like the phone for quick responses.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

Probably the biggest impression this company has left on us is the love they have for the project. They certainly want our success and for that they are not afraid to give more than what is asked of them.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I thought producing a video would be faster though. Sometimes I don't understand why a modification can take a few hours. But in general, we are very satisfied!
