BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I'm the CTO in Zirius AS, a software company located in Norway. We develop, sell and host our cloud solution for our customers in Scandinavia.

OPPORTUNITY / CHALLENGE

For what projects/services did your company hire Inclave Devopz Technology Private Limited, and what were your goals?

We needed help to decide between the different cloud providers, and then to set up the infrastructure. This including VM's (virtual machines) and Kubernetes, CI/CS Database, networking and security in AWS and Azure.

SOLUTION

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

The decisive factor was that they have good competence and showed a good understanding of our requirements.

Describe the scope of work in detail, including the project steps, key deliverables, and technologies used.

We started up by choosing AWS as Cloud provider. When this decision was taken they designed the cloud infrastructure and which AWS services to use. They set up our VMs, migrated our DB to AWS Aurora, migrated the source code to AWS CodeCommit, set up the CI/CD, Kubernetes, Lambda's, API Gateway and much more.

How many people from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

It's 3 persons in the team including one project manager.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The project was finalized in time and the same resources are now working on maintaining the setup. In a software company there are always new requirements, and we need resources we can rely on.

Describe their project management style, including communication tools and timeliness.

We had and have a long term plan for deliveries with a weekly status meeting. When needed we set up meetings or communicate directly. If needed they are there for us immediately. We use Clickup for planning and mostly Google Chat & meet for communication.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

The responsibility they take for our product is the most impressive. That on top of excellent knowledge and experience makes it a really good company.
