History

The company was originally founded on August 6, 1997, under the name Markeds Impuls. After several years of growth and development, the company was acquired by SCA Packaging in 2003. This marked the beginning of a new era, where the company became part of a larger, European business. Over the next few years, the company expanded and strengthened its position in the market, before undergoing another major change in 2012. At that time, SCA Packaging sold its Norwegian operations, as well as several other units in Europe, to DS Smith, a leading supplier of sustainable packaging solutions.

In 2015, the company took an exciting turn when DS Smith decided to sell part of the company back to the previous owner, Atle Andreassen. This transition marked a new chapter in the company’s history, and today the company is known as i-Pack Total. It is now co-owned by Hilde Syversen and Atle Andreassen. The company operates from modern premises located at Jellestadveien 35, 1739 Borgenhaugen in Sarpsborg, and has grown to employ ten dedicated employees in 2025. This is testament to the company’s continued commitment to innovation and quality in the packaging industry.
