I am the director of the IT department. There are no specialists in the direction of data science in our team, so we decided to hire third-party developers for the project.

Within the framework of one project, we had to implement two solutions. On the one hand, we needed a well-thought-out architecture that would fit into the existing automation of the company. On the other hand, a new mechanism for collecting, processing and storing big data was implemented for us. For these purposes, we hired a senior data science developer. We want to fully automate the company's work and speed up reporting and planning.

In our business, it is necessary to collect and process a huge amount of information. Also, much of the data needs to be tracked in real time. Instant statistical reports are often needed. All this is done for us by the architect data science.

I have communicated only with the business analyst of the HYPERLAB. He decides how many people work in a team, and I only track the results.

We got excellent tools for day-to-day work, planning and analysis. This allowed the company to reduce its operating costs, as well as eliminate unforeseen situations.

I'm very busy with internal projects, so I kept communication with the team to a minimum. In weekly meetings with the business analyst, we discussed the results achieved. I also made some adjustments to the requirements. This turned out to be enough to get a quality product.

I loved how I got a decent working product on time.

Everything is fine.

We worked on email service Finder and we had to find developers who would be able to handle .net + Angular. We made detailed research and were surprised by finding Hyperlab. Hyperlab has both strong expertise in software development as well as deep understanding of marketing.

What were your goals for this project?

The goal was to develop as soon as possible MVP for Finder and than extend features. The challenge was to develop parser for LinkedIn and get good performance for long list of accounts.

we asked our friends and one of my collogue recommended me to outsource to eastern Europe. I googled some companies and finally found Dmitry who was working in Hyperlab. We setup call, and i was surprised by deep understanding all the needs and logic of parser work.

He already had expertise in marketing automation, he provided fair estimates, so I jumped to work with Hyperlab and I more than happy.

we got original estimate for Phase 0. Phase 0 passed 3 month, and we got MVP, which allowed us to parse contacts from Linkeding. Than we had 1 month sprints to develop product. Right now we are under discussion for prolongation and extension contract.

The team was 3 dedicated developers + project manager.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

We get phase 0 delivered in time as an MVP. We got final product In may 2020, original estimate was march 2020, but we extended functionality. So I can say that hyperlab is a team who delivers in time. I also want to say thank u to Dmitry who helped us and consulate us for marketing aspects.

we had weekly meeting with project manager for project status. The development process went smoothly with no issues

The team is talented and continually upgrades their expertise by bringing on knowledgeable resources. SDLS is on senior level.

Are there any areas for improvement?

I think they need to improve their negotiation skills and sales. Because we got much more than it was on sales proposal.

They developed me system, which currently handles more than 1000 active users, with 5000+ projects. I am pretty happy with quality of code, architecture and standards those mates are using.

They are scrum team, with 2 weeks sprints, JIRA is in use for task tracking

They are a really adequate team, especially their Project Manager Maria.

Prod releases, sometimes where not done in time, I do agree that there was additional requirements, but any way new CR's could be managing more efficiently. However no big delays, so I am pretty happy with provided service.
