I’m the CMO of El Supplier, an e-commerce company.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hyper Media Labs?

We needed someone to develop our website, dashboard, and mobile apps.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyper Media Labs developed from scratch our entire website, dashboard, and iOS and Android apps. They also did the admin back office and the whole system’s UX/UI. We started by telling them what we needed. They sent drafts, and then we did testing and went live.

The site is an e-commerce website like Alibaba, but it’s for lead generation only. We don’t sell anything on it, but suppliers can list their products and join us by taking any subscriptions. On the other hand, clients can visit the site and select what they want.

The vendor dashboard is integrated into the website. Suppliers have their own dashboard where they can manage everything. Right now, we’re working on the second version, which will allow end-users to get in touch with suppliers.

What is the team composition?

We work with the COO and an account manager.

How did you come to work with Hyper Media Labs?

We had many ideas that we thought would work, but they offered better ideas.

How much have you invested with them?

We’ve spent between $50,000–$100,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We started working together in June 2020, and the relationship is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

We’re satisfied with the quality of their work. Moreover, they help us with many things and always think about us. Their customer service is pretty good.

How did Hyper Media Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is good. They meet deadlines and give us a report where we can track everything. We’ve used Zoom due to COVID-19, but we used to have in-person meetings prior to the pandemic.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They meet deadlines and deliver what we’ve agreed upon.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing I’d have them improve.

I’m the founder of Travmed, a medical tourism company. I’m trying to get people from all over the world come to Egypt and seek medical help here for everything that’s not included in their medical insurance, including dentistry, Lasik eye procedures, and more.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hyper Media Labs?

I needed a company to build my web platform.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

Hyper Media Labs designed and developed the platform to connect doctors and clients. They did everything from start to finish. I provided them with the content, but they handled everything on the backend. The team used GoDaddy to build the site and ensured I can change the copy and images whenever I want to. 

It’s an interactive website where clients can go on and see doctor profiles. They can also see the degrees and certificates the doctors have. Additionally, there will be images of the doctors’ work before and after as well as their clinics. 

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with Mohamed (CEO) and through him, I worked with a developer.

How did you come to work with Hyper Media Labs?

I reached out to Hyper Media Labs, they were one of five referrals from my network. After the second meeting with them along with the other four companies, I decided I wanted to work with them. They were able to build a website within my budget.

How much have you invested with them?

We invested E£125,000 Egyptian pounds (approximately $8,000 USD).

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together from March 2020–February 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

They developed a simple, consumer-friendly website. It’s extremely user-friendly. When they sent me the prototype for it, I passed it onto a bunch of people from my circle and everyone thought it was very easy to understand and clear.

I haven’t kicked off my work on the website yet because I’m having issues due to COVID-19 since it has paused travel. 

How did Hyper Media Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

I liked that I only had one point of contact. That made everything extremely easy. They were very timely with meeting the deadlines, sometimes they’d even deliver before the set date. The rounds of amendments that kept coming back and forth were always accepted by them without issue. They were very lenient and focused on giving me the best product.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They were always available. Even if he couldn’t return my call right away, Mohamed would make sure to text me so that I knew that he got my call.

Are there any areas they could improve?

The only thing they could work on is their language management. They don’t have the strongest English speakers. Since our website is in English to be universal, this caused some issues. We had a lot of back and forth and I had to go page by page and make sure all the English grammar was right, which was a little time-consuming. 

They could have also taught me a little bit more on how to work on the backend of the website. It could have been in more detail because I’m not the best in terms of technical development. Other than that, they did a great job.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

The more attention to detail you pay to their work the better. If you’re very detail-oriented, it, in turn, makes them very detail-oriented.

I’m the CEO of Souq Kahraba which is an electricity marketplace.

What challenge were you trying to address with Hyper Media Labs?

I needed someone to develop a marketplace.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

They’re my development company. They designed and developed my website three years ago, and they did an outstanding job.

It’s a marketplace similar to Alibaba in the sense that it is a B2B platform for electricity services. I gave them all the documents of what I needed, and then they developed it within the timeframe we agreed on. They used PHP for the development. We will be developing a mobile application as well.

What is the team composition?

In the past, I worked with the owner. The company has expanded so much, so I am now working with an account manager. We have many projects to do together.

How did you come to work with Hyper Media Labs?

I found them on Google and through a referral on Facebook. The owner is actually an old friend from college.

How much have you invested in them?

We’ve spent over $30,000.

What is the status of this engagement?

We have had many phases together. We started in November 2019, and our engagement is ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The customer satisfaction, the user experience, and the leads I get from the website have been great.

How did Hyper Media Labs perform from a project management standpoint?

Project management is more than perfect. They have a big team, and they provide me with excellent quality.

I like using WhatsApp and phone calls. I prefer to stay away from ticketing systems.

What did you find most impressive about them?

Their quality, their responsiveness, and availability are impressive. I’ve even contacted them at 10 p.m., and they are always responsive.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I don’t think there has been anything until this point.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Go for it. They are accommodating, and they’ve done many different projects. They gave me a lot of advice when it came to my business model as well.
