I've run marketing inside large corporations and built it from scratch at early-stage startups, so I know how to scale at many stages of a company's growth. My work is with founders and CEOs of B2B companies across a range of industries, usually between $500K and $3M in revenue.
What I do depends on what the business needs. Sometimes it's interim leadership while a company hires its own CMO. Sometimes it's a fractional seat for a year while I build the positioning, the pipeline, and the team underneath it. When the situation calls for it, I take the full seat and own the function the way a full-time hire would.
Most marketing problems I see are really story problems. The company does good work but can't say plainly why it matters or who it's for. That's usually where I start.
HPZ Marketing is named after my grandfather, Horace Paige Ziegler. He ran his work on integrity, humility, and service, and I built this company the same way. Seven years in, my business has come through referrals, which tells you how clients tend to feel about the work I do for them.
I'm based in Minneapolis and Malta and work with clients across the US and Europe. HPZ Marketing is WBENC-certified and a certified Women-Owned Small Business, which matters for companies with supplier-diversity goals.
