BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

I am the CEO and founder of a small luxury digital marketing boutique that specialized in the execution of high-level SEO, CRO, and web development projects.

For what projects/services did your company hire House of IT?

As we started to scale, we were experiencing some major security concerns and issues. Our servers were not secure it was not only affecting our internal business, but that of our clients' as well. We had a referral to House of I.T from a mutual connection. I explained my problems and that I really didn't know what I needed in order to remedy the situation.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

I was referred to this vendor by a professional colleague and the biggest deciding factor for me was reliability and quality of work. I had to be sure that whatever vendor we chose would be a wise investment since we a re a growing firm, we were not in the position to test multiple vendors with a "try-and-see" approach. House of I.T was referred to me because they assisted a rapidly growing SaaS company with great success. Given their track records, I chose them.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

With the initial intake interview, we discussed the problems I felt my business was facing as we scale and the problems it was causing for my clients. The owner of the company Artem, spent time discussing other vulnerabilities I never knew existed. I needed a way to protect my business digitally since we are a "remote-first" team. Internet connection and data security were a top priority. We decided to get equipment for everyone in the company so that we were all operating with the same technology to ensure systematic cohesion.

With new pcs, routers, modems, and other IT hardware, we were setup to efficiently work. Next, the team helped us most our backend to a secure cloud-based platform. The project took roughly 2.5 months to complete.

How many resources from the vendor's team worked with you, and what were their positions?

3. I worked with a Sales representative that helped me understand what equipment was needed, as well as what softwares my company had to license. The other person was a team lead that stayed in communication with me during the planning, shipping, and installing process. The last person was the owner himself who kept the project moving forward to quickly get our new network secured and up.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Before using House of I.T we were experience a lot of cyberattacks, poor internet speeds, bad connections (some of our team are in areas that experience these on a regular basis). Since House of I.T helped us find the perfect hardware and office equipment to synchronize our team performance, they also helped to securely protect our private business and client data in the cloud and we've had no penetrating attacks. Our connections are strong and more secure and our internet speeds are reliably consistent and relatively fast given certain ISP provided speeds.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

The workflow was nothing short of precise and systematic. I was informed of the ongoings during each step.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

I really think the best part of working with them, is how quickly they were able to understand my concerns and offer a future-proof plan on addressing my current problems and concerns while protecting my future stress of these coming back.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

I think they operated as I expected and wouldn't change their service at all.
