HMMI is a one-stop-shop manufacturing facility for large and heavy steel products. From fabrication, welding, machining and painting of large and heavy products, our highly-trained professionals can produce and deliver products to meet your unique needs.
Centrally located in Huron, South Dakota, our 100,000-square-foot facility includes an expansive indoor steel storage space which enables us to keep a large selection of raw material on-hand to quickly meet the changing needs of today’s build-to-demand market while a variety of inventory control options minimizes inventory floor time, ensuring your delivery needs are met.
HMMI is a fabrication facility offering a range of manufacturing capabilities including large-scale weldments. Centrally located in Huron, South Dakota, our 100,000-square-foot facility and large staff of highly-trained professionals produce and deliver products to meet your unique needs.
Our expansive indoor steel storage space enables us to keep a large selection of raw material on-hand to quickly meet the changing needs of today's built-to-demand market. A variety of inventory control options — including KAN_BAN systems — along with a commitment to continuous improvement, minimizes inventory floor time, ensuring your delivery needs are met.
Office and shop floor activities are supported by modern technologies, including:
• Sigmanest® with 12" thick oxy fuel cutting and 1.5" high definition plasma cutting capabilities
• Autodesk Inventor® with 3D models for optimal fixture design accuracy
• GibbsCam® for CNC programming, and
• E2® for real-time order tracking on our shop floor
