I am the CEO of a crypto company based in California, US.

For what projects/services did your company hire Hivex , and what were your goals?

We hired Hivex to help our internal team with a software development project on a staff augmentation basis. Basically, we needed professional developers to complement our in-house team, since the expertise of the latter didn’t suffice to create software according to the concept we had framed.

How did you select this vendor and what were the deciding factors?

We did extensive research, both online and by talking to people. One of our PMs worked with guys from Hivex at her previous job, and that was the case very similar to ours. So we contacted them and scheduled an interview. The interview helped us understand that they had the expertise we lacked. Also, they were open to work on a staff augmentation basis. These were the deciding factors.

After the interview, we took several days to conduct a couple more interviews. When we decided on Hivex, we contacted them and scheduled a kick-off meeting. As they were already familiar with the concept and the approximate project roadmap, we used the kick-off meeting to discuss things in more detail and define project steps and responsibilities of our team and theirs. Soon after, we got down to work. As of now, we’re on the testing stage.

Two front-end and three back-end developers.

Can you share any measurable outcomes of the project or general feedback about the deliverables?

The augmented staff members from Hivex have integrated with our in-house team particularly well. We’re satisfied with the outcomes and will likely hire them for future projects.

The project has been managed from our side.

Their expertise and that it has been easy to work with them.

I’m a Product Owner for a Mobile & Web Banking application.

For what projects/services did your company hire Hivex ?

We hired Hivex to assist us with the development and maintenance of our banking application. We were looking for an outstaffing vendor who could complement our in-house talent for a long-term FinTech project.

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

When planning our project, we realized that our in-house team’s expertise didn’t suffice to achieve our goals, so we decided to hire an outstaffing company. We found Hivex online. The deciding factors were their previous experience in FinTech development and affordable pricing.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

At the kick-off meeting, I explained our project requirements so that they could assign developers with the expertise that could best meet our project needs and goals. The kick-off was followed by a couple of other video conferences where we discussed the project roadmap and scope in more detail, assigned roles and responsibilities. They have been working for us from the design phase through development and deployment up to the ongoing maintenance phase.

The key deliverable is our FinTech solution — a mobile and web banking app that is already in the market. We didn’t stop our partnership since we want their developers to be always there when we need help with fixing bugs or introducing updates to our product.

Describe the recruitment process in detail.

The first point of contact with Hivex was their sales manager. From the beginning of the project, we’ve been also working with a designer, two front-end and two back-end developers, three iOS developers, two Android developers, and a QA specialist.

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

We are absolutely happy with our decision to hire developers from Hivex. It’s been great to complement our internal resources with experienced external developers.

That’s our in-house manager’s responsibility.

Their dedication to our product. They’re hard-working and go all out to deliver the best possible results.

Nothing, we’re more than satisfied.
