Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

We engaged HeyQA for a six-month QA engagement on our car marketplace platform, autocompraventaia.es, working directly with the founder throughout.

The scope covered functional testing across our core features: user login and registration, subscription plan selection and payment flows, search/filtering, Telegram and email notification delivery, map-based location and sales-offer integrations for both the German and Spanish markets, and our profit calculator tool.

HeyQA also built an automated end-to-end test suite in Playwright using the Page Object Model, covering login/registration and search flows, run as local regression suites.

A major part of the engagement was localization QA across six languages — Spanish, English, Russian, French, Portuguese, and German — including translation verification, text formatting, and date/currency localization per market.

Key deliverables: over 20 critical bugs identified and resolved before launch, a Playwright automation suite covering roughly 80% of core functionality, and a fully tested, localized platform ready for multi-market release.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The engagement delivered concrete, measurable results. Over the course of the six months, HeyQA identified and helped us resolve more than 20 critical bugs before launch — issues in payment processing, notifications, and map/filtering integrations that would have directly affected real users and revenue if they'd reached production.

The Playwright automation suite now covers roughly 80% of our core platform functionality (login, registration, search), giving us a reusable regression safety net we can run before every future release instead of re-testing manually each time.

Localization QA across six languages — Spanish, English, Russian, French, Portuguese, and German — meant we could launch confidently across multiple markets, including Germany and Spain, with verified translations, formatting, and date/currency display, avoiding costly post-launch locale fixes.

Overall, the project gave us a significantly lower defect rate at launch and a repeatable, automated testing process we continue to rely on.

Project management was straightforward and personal, we worked directly with the founder throughout the six-month engagement rather than going through a larger team or account manager, which made communication fast and clear. Deliverables were consistently on time, and priorities were adjusted as our platform's needs evolved. He was responsive to questions and flagged critical issues (like the 20+ bugs found) as soon as they came up rather than batching them into a final report, which let us fix problems while development was still in progress instead of scrambling before launch. Overall, it felt like working with an embedded QA partner rather than an outside vendor.
