Hewitt Contracting Co. Inc. began in 1963. A Florida Corporation that over the years has seen several subsidiary companies, beginning with heavy highway and bridge construction and branching out to include site development, paving, power and communications, storage facility, roll-off dumpster and landfill operations.
Under the ownership and management of Howard Hewitt the business grew and prospered. At its peak the business employed over 100 people. During the last few decades divisions have been either closed or sold as the construction landscape changed, the last of those entities being sold in March of 2025.
We currently operate primarily as Hewitt Properties LLC managing several investment properties and rentals.
