I’m the CEO and founder of a mobile gaming company. Currently, we have over 40 games on iOS. Most of them are card games, board games, and classic games under the freemium model.

I needed someone to update one of my top games.

What was the scope of their involvement?

I was getting a lot of customer complaints that one of our games wasn’t working as intended. To learn more about the issue, I provided documentation in the form of code and gameplay rules. The Hashbyte team then analyzed the code and learned how to play the game itself. They also looked at our competitors and how they used automation. 

Once they understood the game and found the problem, the team created a solution using AI technology to ensure that the system is accurate and fair. To further ensure its precision, Hashbyte used captured data through a system that tested various scenarios. They continue to work on minor corrections to make the app as smooth as possible. The game was developed in Unity, so that’s what they use to tweak the code. I’ve also had some graphics done by the team.

What is the team composition?

I mainly assign tasks through Parsh (CEO), who acts as the project manager. I also work with two developers, a QA lead, and a graphic designer.

I’ve spent $80,000–$90,000.

We started the project in June 2019, and it’s ongoing.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

The game is quite complex and intricate, but they’ve done a great job. Prior to the project, we had around 2,500 daily active users (DAU). Thanks to the Hashbyte team’s modifications and corrections, we’ve reached 8,000–9,000 DAU.

Hashbyte does pretty well on project management. They look at what I want them to do and create a timeline on how long it will take. Most of the time, they deliver on time or even earlier. Some aspects take a little longer, but the team makes up for it, and we still manage to hit our target. In terms of communication, we use Slack. We usually have conference calls to discuss their progress.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re punctual and deliver what they promise.

Are there any areas they could improve?

They could assign more developers to the project, but it’s a minor issue.

Talk to them about what you need, and they’ll give you an honest estimate on what they can do based on your budget.

I created my logo design first, board game design and graphic imagery, they helped design the whole game box as well as two puzzles based on the same theme. They created the 3d designs for 6 custom game player pieces. They also help to create the content for marketing and social media accounts. They then help set up my online store are working on the SEO work

I honestly don’t know how many, but it was at least a dozen people from the various departments. Some with their graphic design team, the animation creation of the video trailer, the social media content, website links, website development and design as well as SEO work

I can’t say enough about Harsh and his team at Hashbyte-Studios. Their design team is incredible and exceeded all of the expectations that I had for my project. They helped create everything from the logo design to the video trailer for my board game. Hashbyte-Studios is a pleasure to work with. They have the enthusiasm, creativity and work ethic I was looking for in a design and development team. Everything was done on time and with attention to detail. We are now awaiting out first manufacturing order and I couldn’t have done this without their team of experts!
