I am the owner of a construction business. My girlfriend of mine actually goes and does the work while I do all office administration, payroll, and bids on jobs. I am a self-employed contractor through my friend.

Just to be more organized and aware of what my company's revenue and expenses were. How we could bring down expenses and turn up revenue. Also, overspending was another thing we looked at.
