BACKGROUND

Please describe your company and your position there.

We are a mid size company, established in 1999, currently operating with 300+ employees out of multiple states and locations. I am the director of marketing for the company and my team handles marketing for all of the locations.

To quickly expand our marketing team with specific and specialized roles we reached out to Grunt Workers. They found the right talent to fit roles in SEO, SEM, Digital Design, and CRO.

How did you select this agency and what were the deciding factors?

Grunt Workers provided options in a timely manner. They work from a position of relationship building and valuing the workers they provide. They want a good fit for all parties involved and they thrive from good leadership within their company.

Describe the project in detail and walk through the stages of the project.

We are an internal marketing team. Our needs have varied through out our time with Grunt Workers. The project began with graphic design work. They provided talent for that. We expanded into google paid advertisement needs and paid facebook ads.

They filled the gap of conversion rate optimization while those platforms drove traffic. They have worked with several website languages, databases, coding, and 3rd party analytical tools.

Describe the recruitment process in detail.

We were paired with a single recruiter at Grunt Workers each time we engaged them for hiring needs. They would do their research, interviewing, and leg work to find qualified candidates. They would weed out the applicants and return with a qualified short list. Interviews of the few remaining candidates where held.

After a final selection was made, Grunt Workers would host the onboarding and set proper expectations. They follow up weekly with each employee provided.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

Can you share any outcomes from the engagement that demonstrate progress or success?

The majority of employees provided were quality workers. When we did run into an individual that stopped performing, Grunt Workers was prompt in correcting this and ultimately replacing the employee with a better candidate. We continue to use Grunt Workers today. It is a successful relationship.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

If there is a lack in workflow the failures have been on my teams side. Hence one of the reasons we turn to Grunt Workers, we have too much work to do in house, and need the support. Outside of internal demands causing workflow snags, our collaboration with Grunt Workers has been seamless.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

We love the personal attention given to us by Grunt Workers. We love how they pay attention to people. The truly care.

Are there any areas for improvement or something they could have done differently?

A feedback loop for when their workers start to slow down or don't have clear expectations given by our team. Anytime an employee comes to me asking for more work to do, I value that employee's imitative and willingness to be of more value. And almost every employee knows when they are not being fully unutilized. The feedback loop from them helps everyone grow.
