Grow are one of the UK’s most respected and experienced small business marketing consultancies. We plan and develop bespoke marketing strategies to increase profits for fast-growth businesses. I'm the Managing Director of the company.

What were your goals for this project?

Primary goals were to: - Grow our organic traffic - Reach top of page 1 for our target keywords - Increase number of attendees to our marketing workshops - Get more organic leads and calls from small businesses looking for marketing consultancy

How did you select this vendor?

We were looking for marketing help several years ago. David reached out to us directly. After deliberating internally regarding a couple other provides, we decided on Grow Hack Scale due to their aptitude for SEO, content marketing and experience of working with businesses just like ours.

We began identifying some core keyword phrases and content pieces we would like written. David has been responsible for most of the SEO improvements (on-page, off page and technical) for our website. Overtime he's been working with a few of our clients too - delivering SEO and Google Analytics training sessions which they've found very useful.

We only worked with 1 person (David) from Grow Hack Scale whilst working together.

Can you share any outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The articles Grow Hack Scale have written and optimised for SEO has generated 10,000s of social shares and organic visits. Six years later, they're still some of our most popular pieces.

How effective was the workflow between your team and theirs?

Their communication was always good. Requests would be answered within the hour. Never missed a meeting. Most importantly, they always offered suggestions with advice on how to better implement ideas for future campaigns.

What did you find most impressive about this company?

Their ability to adapt and pivot during business change is unparalleled. I was impressed at how efficiently they booked meetings, managed operations and increased attendees to our monthly marketing workshops without any hand-holding.

Are there any areas for improvement?

Probably could be a little-more data driven. They're great at what they do, but it would be a massive help if they could better attribute each marketing activity to bottom-line revenue.

I’m the CEO and founder of Healthiest. We’re a technology company focused on helping shoppers find healthiest approved products while they shop online. We have a browser extension that's integrated with major retailers.

What challenge were you trying to address with Grow Hack Scale?

We were trying to create content that we could use to grow our user base.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Grow Hack Scale wrote blogs and longer content for SEO purposes. They created content to rank high in search results. Once we finished the content, they gave us tips to promote growth. Their team also promoted the content on social channels such as Facebook and LinkedIn. They also highlighted the content on paid channels.

I interacted with two people from their team.

We found them through a recommendation from another entrepreneur.

We spent around $10,000.

We worked together between 2018–2019.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

We’re still using the content that Grow Hack Scale created. David (Senior SEO & Product Marketing Manager) was positive and had a can-do attitude. He was adept, experienced, understood his field.  We felt that we were in good hands with Grow Hack Scale.

David offered recommendations to promote growth, which is what we needed. We weren’t looking for a content writer. We were looking to grow our user base. I would use them over and over again.

How did Grow Hack Scale perform from a project management standpoint?

They met their deadlines 100% of the time. We were in a different time zone and he was conscientious of that. He kept us up to date and gave us expectations for timing.  

What did you find most impressive about them?

They’re excellent content writers from an SEO standpoint. They’re conscientious and thoughtful. Their team tried to understand our business, unlike other outsourced providers. I’ve worked with vendors that just wanted to give us the product and be done. Grow Hack Scale was more engaged than that.

Are there any areas they could improve?

I wish that we had been able to work with them more. We will in the future.

It’s good when they stay in their sweet spot. We tried to create a longer report that we both agreed wasn’t right for them.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I would say this to anyone who’s outsourcing. It’s always helpful to be as clear as possible with what you’re trying to achieve. We were clear that we wanted to grow our user base and their team directed their efforts towards that goal.

Thanks to Grow Hack Scale we have our basic SEO setup for our Blogs. Also the strategy will help us scale as well in the future, as we have good foundations in place.
