Early in his career Tony accepted roles as Chief of Staff to four successive Ministers of the Crown in New South Wales, the most populous state of Australia. He then moved to the New South Wales Office of Fair Trading, and gained extensive experience in the Consumer Protection space before being appointed Manager of Special Investigations for the Department.
In 1990 Tony resigned from the Department of Fair Trading to take up a role as General Counsel for Amway of Australia, and in the ensuing years worked in or supported Amway’s legal responsibilities in Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Indonesia d the Philippines and India. In 2013 Tony accepted an offer to support the Amway India affiliate and relocated to Delhi to take up a role as Amway India’s Director of Legal Services; he returned from that assignment at the end of 2014 to resume his practice as a consulting lawyer and public notary in Sydney.
