Greenmood

Greenmood is a Belgian manufacturer of biophilic acoustic solutions, founded in 2014 by Sadig Alakbarov. Its acoustic walls, panels and furniture combine 100% natural moss, cork and preserved plants to deliver certified sound absorption. Greenmood’s Ball Moss acoustic wall achieves a lab-tested NRC of 0.73 (ISO 11654), comparable to engineered acoustic panels, while its moss walls meet ASTM E84 Class A fire-performance requirements for US commercial interiors.

Greenmood is recognized globally for biophilic design, bringing natural materials into offices, hospitality, retail and corporate environments. Products are handmade in Europe and completely maintenance-free—no watering, lighting or trimming required. Greenmood acoustic walls, partitions, ceiling elements and cork furniture can contribute to LEED v5 and WELL v2 projects and are supported by CAD, Revit and BIM files, technical specifications and acoustic test reports.

The collection includes Ball Moss, Velvet Leaf and Reindeer Moss acoustic walls, Morse and Parenthese cork tiles, sculptural acoustic products such as G-Circle, G-Divider and Hoverlight, and cork furniture from the Terra and Mario collections. Several products are designed by Belgian designer Alain Gilles, including the Cruz Planter, winner of the Archiproducts Design Award 2023.

Greenmood products have been specified by Google, Microsoft, L’Oréal, JPMorgan, Pfizer, Shell, Accor and Whole Foods. Headquartered in Brussels, with operations in eight countries and exports to more than 20 markets, Greenmood serves North America from Brooklyn, New York.
