I’m the owner of Consumers Cannabis, a cannabis retail store.

What challenge were you trying to address with GrayCyan?

We wanted to have a professionally laid out website for customers to navigate and purchase online as well as in-store.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement?

GrayCyan fully designed our WordPress website, and they integrated an age verification feature on our platform. On top of that, they integrated all of my third-party online sales. More importantly, they ensured that everything was working well together.

We worked with at least four people including their designer and account manager.

How did you come to work with GrayCyan?

I was shopping around and someone in the cannabis industry referred GrayCyan to me. I also had a couple of quotes from other web developers, but they only offered overpriced services.

How much have you invested with them?

We spent $2,400.

What is the status of this engagement?

We collaborated together from April–May 2021.

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

GrayCyan’s quality of work was amazing, and they finished our website within a month. We were supposed to go live in May, but we ended up having complications on our end. As a result, we would be opening our doors in October.

Despite that, we were impressed by the appearance of our website. Anecdotally, our internal team loves the website because of its clean and organized look. Overall, they put our vision to life and guided us with everything we needed.

How did GrayCyan perform from a project management standpoint?

We mainly communicated through email and had a couple of phone calls. The GrayCyan team was very responsive and didn’t miss any meetings. Above all, they were always on time and did exactly what they said they were going to do.

What did you find most impressive about them?

They offered us good customer service; they were helpful and if we had concerns, they’d always respond and support us immediately. Additionally, they were always on the ball, which puts them above the rest.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, they did everything perfectly. I had no complaints about their service.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Express all of your ideas because they will consider them — don’t be scared to give your suggestions. Moreover, they'll try their best to do what you’re specifically asking for.
