Gravity Studios

Founded in 1993 by industry expert Doug McBride in Chicago Illinois, Gravity Studios is a full-service AUDIO / SOUND RECORDING facility.  Services include: Consultation and Pre-Production, Recording, Editing, Mixing, and Mastering, as well as Songwriting and Arrangement.  We also offer a robust roster of session musicians with backgrounds ranging from radio-friendly or experimental, all the way through classicalal music.  Above and beyond music, we also service ADR / COMMERCIAL AUDIO.

Our team of audio engineers and producers hold diverse backgrounds and specialties which allows us to work with virtually every genre of music while being able to communicate musical ideas for artists at any level of familiarity with music terminology.  There is no one entry point to the recording industry and bridging the language gap helps our artists feel comfortable and confident before their very first session with us.

We believe that the studio environment "stands the test of time" when sessions are comfortable, inviting, and artist-lead.  We're not ego-driven, so whether you are seeking a producer who takes the reins, collaborates, or exclusively engineers your recording while you direct, we're absolutely thrilled to help.

Gravity Studios also ensures the artist is put first by strictly operating as "work-for-hire".  Once your project is complete and your invoice is brought current, you are the sole owner of your recordings.

We never automate communications to ensure that each project has the level of care and individual attention it deserves - whether you're a first-timer or career musician, you deserve the opportunity to have a team of professionals directly communicating and advocating for your project.

Reach out to us through our website or by phone to discuss your project and how we can help bring the very best out of your artistic vision!
