However, our main bottleneck was the disconnect between our high-volume physical footprint and clean digital customer attribution. This year, we brought in Granton Advertising, the Digital Tech Division of the parent entity Granton, to orchestrate a unified hybrid operation. They were tasked with developing an enterprise software infrastructure to capture customer information seamlessly at the point of sale (POS) and securely pipeline that data directly into our IT administrator backend to track precise customer lifetime value and spending habits.

Granton Advertising assigned a dedicated, agile engineering team of 12 specialists to deploy our solution. Operating over intensive 8-week sprint cycles, they built a custom frontend interface for our in-store tablets using a responsive React.js framework, deploying the environment directly to Vercel to maintain ultra-low-latency edge performance across both the UAE and India. This interactive customer intake client communicates through a unified GraphQL API layer to a highly scalable server backend powered by Node.js and an enterprise-grade PostgreSQL database module. This architecture systematically bypasses traditional data over-fetching hurdles. Most impressively, they woven OpenAI's GPT API via a LangChain workflow directly into our specialized customer intake stream. This AI middleware cleans and parses raw consumer data collected from scan codes, filtering clean profiles directly to our internal systems.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The business telemetry we now possess is staggering. We can track user habits directly through our POS terminals, seamlessly categorizing single-visit guests from loyal multi-visit regular clients. For a total project investment of $300,000, we now have cross-border visibility into our exact Average Revenue Per User (ARPU). We can mathematically prove the exact return on investment our legacy Granton Marketing field teams drive.

The delivery was exceptionally disciplined. While integrating a modern GraphQL framework with legacy, multi-regional POS infrastructure can heavily tax internal operations, Granton’s stable, centralized corporate management structure ensured their team adhered strictly to the 8-week sprint deadlines. The coordination between the marketing field personnel and the advertising technology specialists was remarkably synchronized.

Initially there was a friction between the Granton team and our in house administrators. The project manager from Granton utilized some conflict resolution techniques to resolve the challenges, effect buy-in from our team and smoothen the obstacles.
