The family business commenced operations in road transport in the 1930's when the late Gus Spargo commenced transporting livestock, from his base in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria, 55kms from the Melbourne 's GPO. The surrounding district was a rich area for the production of cattle and sheep and within easy distance to the markets. In 1966, Graeme was approached by a customer and asked if he would diversify his business to transporting general freight, of which we still carry their products today.
