Gorilla Creative is a full-service corporate and commercial video production company located in San Francisco, California.
Since 2017 we've helped clients get from "We need a video" to "Check out these results!" We've produced brand films, customer testimonials, product and demo videos, investor and IPO roadshow videos, recruiting videos, training videos, and animation for companies including Marqeta, Coveo, Intuit QuickBooks, Brex, Lively, Sojern, InfluxData, and Cengage.
What makes us different is continuity. The executive producer and creative director who develop your creative are founders, and they stay on the project through production, post, and delivery. No handoffs, no substitutions. You always know who to talk to.
We're full-service: video strategy, scripting, storyboards, casting, location scouting, set design, on-location and studio production, FAA-licensed drone pilots, editing, color grading, 2D and 3D animation, motion graphics, visual effects, sound design, and music composition. Reviews run through Frame.io, and most work is structured as fixed-fee, per-project engagements.
Most projects aren't a single video. A hero customer testimonial typically ships alongside a set of social cutdowns, each delivered in the aspect ratios your channels need. We plan for that from the start rather than retrofitting it at the end.
Scale isn't a problem either. We've filmed executive interviews across multiple states and countries for one video, and produced a 50+ episode developer series over the course of a year. We also work well small: a single-day shoot, handled cleanly, on time and on budget.

Matt TownleyCo-Founder & Executive Producer
Matt founded his first company before he could drive. Years across the technical, creative, and business sides of production gave him a knack for connecting the parts of a project that rarely talk. He holds a B.S. in IT and Visual Communication.
Eric StrackeCo-Founder & Creative Director
Eric thrives in the creative process, taking pride in guiding every video from concept to completion. He holds a B.S. in Digital Film and Video Production from the Art Institute of California, San Francisco, and has been immersed in video ever since.
