I’m the assistant director of HR for a government entity.

What challenge were you trying to address with On the go HR, Inc?

We hired On the go HR, Inc to help us with recruitment. Our recruitment efforts were very robust at that time, so we needed additional help.

SOLUTION

What was the scope of their involvement? 

On the go HR, Inc helped us post job openings and prescreen the candidate resumes, after which they sent those resumes to me.

What is the team composition?

I worked with Vanessa (Hiring Specialist), who is also the president and CEO.

How did you come to work with On the go HR, Inc?

I worked with Vanessa in the past and remembered her talent. When the opportunity arose, I reached out to her because I knew her work ethic. She was fast and efficient, and we needed those qualities so that we could hit the ground running.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked with them from January–April 2023.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

The new resources we hired through On the go HR, Inc are still working with us and working well. Moreover, they were onboarded very quickly — we hired them in under 30 days, and everything worked out well.

How did On the go HR, Inc perform from a project management standpoint?

Vanessa was very responsive. We had weekly Microsoft (MS) Teams calls and communicated via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

In today’s job market, recruitment is very difficult because not many people want to go back into an office or they want exorbitant amounts of money for compensation. Despite those challenges, On the go HR, Inc was able to help me get the number of hires we needed; they were very efficient.

Are there any areas they could improve?

There’s nothing On the go HR, Inc could have improved on; they’re doing a great job as a small business owned by women. Vanessa does great work, which is why I reached out to her in the first place.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

Have constant communication. Vanessa is very efficient.
