gloozd built the first coffee AI assistant of its kind, powered by a specialized coffee knowledge graph that acts as its "digital brain." That knowledge graph is what lets the assistant give highly relevant, specific recommendations and avoid the kind of hallucinations you'd expect from a standard off-the-shelf LLM applied to a niche subject like specialty coffee.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Customers can now simply consult the AI assistant for personalized coffee recommendations instead of researching individual varieties and searching through our multi-store catalog. It has made the online shopping experience much closer to consulting a knowledgeable barista in one of our physical coffee shops.

The knowledge-graph foundation. A lot of AI assistants for retail are just an LLM with a product feed bolted on, and they confidently recommend the wrong thing. Because ours is grounded in a real coffee knowledge graph, gloozd - data & ai agency's solution's recommendations actually hold up to someone who knows coffee — that's what makes it feel like talking to a real barista instead of a chatbot.
