Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

Ghosts Writer took care of most of the aspects in a nutshell. It started with ideation and brainstorming elements, where they assisted me in collating all the loose ends in my mind. Based upon that, they constructed a more thorough chapter outline, and after I approved it, actual writing started. The whole manuscript was written in my style. Thereafter, the team also formatted it, proofread it, and even assisted with back cover copy (and title ideas, too). And they offered good recommendations on self-publishing gateways and launch advice. The main deliverables were a finalized, smoothed manuscript, editing and proofreading, promotional material such as back cover copy, and publication assistance.

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The best takeaway? My book was published easily and required no extensive rewrites, and early readers reviewed it highly. It also made a top position in its category within the first two weeks on Amazon, which was very thrilling. I did not expect my book to be listed that way so early. And all that demonstrated to me that the process was working.

Yep, everything was very organized. They provided me with a project schedule at the very beginning, and I can say that every draft, revision, and edit occurred according to the schedule. I had never been compelled to pester them over updates. The fact that they followed up with me even made me stay up to date without feeling overloaded.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What really stood out was how well they captured my voice. It didn’t feel like someone else wrote it. It felt like me, just better. Every time I had feedback, they took it seriously and adjusted things without hesitation. I also loved how easy they were to talk to. They made the whole process feel collaborative, not clinical.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Ghosts Writers could have done differently?

Honestly, not much. If I had to point out something, maybe I would’ve liked to be involved in the cover design process a little earlier. It turned out great in the end, but being looped in sooner would’ve helped tie everything together more smoothly. Still, the writing experience itself was top-notch.
