I’m the managing director of Enki Rebels, a strategy and technology solutions consulting company. We provide our services to startups and small businesses to help them scale and digitally transform.

What challenge were you trying to address with Gerber Accounting and Tax Services?

I needed a business tax accountant to file my business taxes.

What was the scope of their involvement?

Gerber Tax filed my taxes for 2020. I provided them with all my financial information, including my profit and loss balance statements, revenue, and expenses, and they were in charge of the rest.

What is the team composition?

I worked directly with Alexandria (Tax Prepared & Owner).

How did you come to work with Gerber Accounting and Tax Services?

I came across Alexandria on a neighborhood Facebook group. Someone in that group recommended her, and I followed up.

How much have you invested with them?

I invested around $400.

What is the status of this engagement?

We worked together in 2020.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement? 

After I provided Gerber Tax with the documents, I just had to sign a document, pay Alexandria, and not worry about my taxes anymore. For me, it was relieving to take that load off of my back. Alexandria filed everything, and the process was very simple.

How did Gerber Accounting and Tax Services perform from a project management standpoint?

Gerber Tax’s project management was great. We had a 30-minute meeting where Alexandria told me everything she needed from my end and gave me a list, which I really appreciated. The follow-ups were very simple, too, so I’ll use her services for this years’ taxes. We mainly communicated via email.

What did you find most impressive about them?

I’ve worked with other people in taxes, and frequently they seem not to know the details, leaving me wondering if they did their job right or if they could have saved me more money on taxes. However, working with Gerber Tax, I trusted that they knew exactly what they were doing.

Alexandria was very well versed in the process, and it was clear that she had done this many times before. She also gave me the confidence that I didn’t need to revise her work, which was a differentiating factor from other providers.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No. Gerber Tax did their work in a way that I didn’t need to think about it.

Do you have any advice for potential customers?

I recommend you to work with Gerber Tax. Their services are worth the money due to the peace of mind they give you; that’s the best part of working with them.
