Create a fully functional system to grade answers to biology exam paper questions, available online through a web portal: 

• Design, develop and deploy an API for automatic marking of free text answer
• Design, develop and deploy a website where students can take advantage of the automatic  marking
• Deploy the API  and the Website on a cloud service provider

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

The project was a success as it was used to validate the theory that schools are open to such a technology and has resulted in the release of a large grant for further exploration.

Project management was superb.  Using sprints we were able to manage workplans and keep everything running to schedule

We have found that implementing a more streamlined and efficient creative workflow has resulted in significant time savings. By implementing automated processes and optimized tools, we have been able to reduce manual tasks and improve overall productivity. This has not only allowed us to meet deadlines more effectively but has also provided our team with more time to focus on higher-value creative work.

The University of Limerick partnered with Gemmo AI to build a purpose built AI chatbot for the IDEAL 2.0 project taking place in multiple countries across Europe.

Describe the scope of work in detail. Please include a summary of key deliverables.

The goal of the project from the University of Limerick and partnered universities from around Europe was to create an Artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot built with the intent to improve physical activity levels amongst autistic college students. 

We had limited funding and thus had to be pragmatic and realistic with what to ask for out of the chatbot. Gemmo did a great job letting informing us of the potential of this prototype chatbot showcasing a great knowledge of AI.

We met with Gemmo online throughout the chatbot's development to review work and give feedback. During meetings Gemmo effectively communicated how we could best contribute to their development process and we made significant progress toward our goal despite limited development hours being spent. 

By the end of our contract with Gemmo, we had a functioning chatbot with all desired features ready to be tested in the research project.

Chatbot functions being completed and reviewed positively.

Gemmo responded promptly to any email communication and scheduled meetings when requested for a time they were available. 

Gemmo delivered requested products on time and were flexible when we altered what functions we wished for the chatbot to have.

Availability and flexibility for consultation.

More live testing of our chatbot could potentially have saved some time with providing effective feedback on functions.
