Introduce your business and what you do there.

I’m the VP of Marketing for Dave’s Hot Chicken. We’re a new restaurant chain with about 36 locations.

What challenge were you trying to address with Geared Advertising?

We were looking at designing a lot of our brand creatives inside and outside of our restaurants.

What was the scope of their involvement?

We provide Geared Advertising with a creative brief that defines our project scope. The team then provides us with graphic design, branding, marketing, and advertising services.

What is the team composition?

The number of people varies depending on the project they’re working on, but they usually provide 3–4 people, including account directors and graphic designers.

How did you come to work with Geared Advertising?

A former colleague referred them to me.

What is the status of this engagement?

Our ongoing partnership started in March 2021.

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What evidence can you share that demonstrates the impact of the engagement?

It’s hard to relate their work to sales because we’re such a new company. However, they’ve been able to create the designs we needed for our restaurant and drive-through menu boards for our 36 locations within two months. Overall, they’ve created amazing design deliverables for us, and we appreciate that they’re open to implementing our revisions requests.

How did Geared Advertising perform from a project management standpoint?

They have an excellent project management process. We’re a small startup so we have a quick turnaround for projects, and Geared Advertising has been able to keep up with that. We don’t have issues with them because they’re very responsive, and they submit outputs in a timely manner.

Are there any areas they could improve?

No, I can’t name anything off the top of my head.

Make sure you communicate with them so that they’ll be very responsive. Be open to their suggestions, too.
