In the heart of New York, The Garage Makeover Company sprouted from a simple need—organizing a messy garage.  Our founder, a dedicated school teacher with a passion for entrepreneurial ventures, was tired of spending weekends reorganizing his garage, only to watch it descend into chaos soon after. But when he discovered the system, it transformed his space, keeping everything off the ground and reclaiming his weekends. This personal transformation sparked an idea.  The Garage Makeover Company was born in 2012, initially as a part-time venture. But by 2014, due to overwhelming demand, it became a full-time commitment. From those modest beginnings, we now proudly transform around 150 garages a year, infusing them with organization and style. In 2025, The Garage Makeover Company entered an exciting new chapter when it was acquired by Imburgia Group Inc., a Rochester-based company behind trusted local brands like Profeta Painting, Get Organized, Profeta Garage Floors and Cabinets Plus Remodeling. The decision was rooted in shared values: quality craftsmanship, honest service, and a deep commitment to the Rochester community. This next chapter builds on the foundation already in place, maintaining the same skilled installers and attention to detail while expanding our capabilities. Today, we’re proud to carry that legacy forward, helping homeowners transform their garages with the same care, creativity, and attention to detail that built our reputation.
