Gabsoft has provided a software developer for our team. The developer contributes to the development and implementation of features related to the Visa STP 1.3 integration. He also works on Webcargo enhancements (version 1.0) and is responsible for bug fixing and system improvements to ensure stability and performance.

The developer Gabsoft has provided for us is expected to perform at the highest level, consistently meet expectations, and achieve a performance evaluation rating above 3. Continuous feedback from colleagues indicates that he is one of the best engineers in the company.

We engaged Gabsoft to augment our team with their engineering and product resources and help us build a grow MultiMerch, our multi-vendor marketplace software. Over the course of several years they covered the full lifecycle: architecture, feature development, QA, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, working as part of our core team.

Key deliverables:

• Core multi-vendor platform — vendor accounts, seller storefronts, multi-vendor catalog
• Transaction engine — order splitting, commissions, seller payouts
• Payment & per-vendor shipping integrations
• Admin panel to manage vendors, products, orders, commissions
• Buyer/seller features — ratings, reviews, messaging, onboarding
• Ongoing upgrades, scaling, QA, and maintenance

RESULTS & FEEDBACK

What were the measurable outcomes from the project that demonstrate progress or success?

Over roughly four years, we kept shipping and expanding the platform continuously and Gabsoft's team helped sustain a cadence of about a dozen releases a year, growing MultiMerch from its core feature set into a substantially broader product.

• Stable delivery - about 12 releases per year over 4 years, hundreds of features shipped
• Growth supported - scaled to serve over a hundred clients functionality grew

Gabsoft's project management was reliable and low-friction. They consistently delivered on time and within budget, and their PM kept the work organized across our regular release cadence. Communication was a strong point: they stayed in close, proactive contact, were quick to respond, and were consistently open to feedback and course corrections as our priorities evolved. We never had to chase them for updates or worry about delivery slipping.

What did you find most impressive or unique about this company?

What stood out most was their communication and sense of ownership. They didn't operate like an outside vendor and instead felt like part of our own company. The team took genuine responsibility for the product, cared about outcomes rather than just closing tickets, and stayed communicative and easy to work with throughout. That combination of reliability, ownership, and a genuinely friendly, collaborative attitude is what made the partnership work so well over the years.

Are there any areas for improvement or something Gabsoft could have done differently?

Nothing significant. Our main constraint was that we sometimes wanted more of them. As a smaller shop, their capacity was limited, so if they'd been a bigger team we'd happily have scaled up and hired more of their people. That's less a criticism than a reflection of how much we valued the work.
